Quantel T8 UMPC Notebook

Here I want to share about my UMPC Quantel T8 series which I bought it for about 3 months ago. I decided to buy this stuff is because its cost and its features can fulfil my study and work. It is cheaper than notebook, I can use it to perform my presentation, I can connect to the internet by using Wifi, I can read or write my document files such as word and ebook in pdf file. So after my searching and wandering finally I interested with Quantel T8.

In my country Quantel is not likely a famous computer manufaturer, but because its processor. There is something unique about its processor and heat sink. Quantel is using AMD Geode for the processor, and the heat sink design is not using a fan just like an ordinary UMPC and Notebook, It's only use metal plat which also use for bottom cover of UMPC. This because the AMD Geode processor is more cooler than the other (Intel Atom, etc.), so the heat sink desaign is not need a fan or metal mounted fan. I became more interested eventough I little bit worried about its reliability and spareparts, but it muffled by its 1 year guarantee.

I found that windows XP can work fine on my quantel T8, but not for windows vista.
